Ha ottenuto il Master of Fine Art all’università di New York nel 1999 e il Bachelor of Arts all’Università di Porto Rico. Attualmente è capo del dipartimento di pittura alla Scuola di Arti Plastiche di Porto Rico ed è assistente all’Università di Porto Rico. Tra le sue esposizioni ricordiamo: Museo del Barrio di NYC, il museo di Arte Contemporanea di Porto Rico, la Project Room a Arco Madrid e la Biennale di Praga. Ha esposto in Belgio, Germania, Danimarca, Messico, Cuba e Italia. Ha partecipato a diverse fiere tra cui Art Basel a Miami e a Basilea, Artissima a Torino, Art Brussel, Art Chicago, Scope NYC, Pulse NYC/Miami, MACO Mexico. Le sue opere sono state acquisite in diverse collezioni a Porto Rico, in Germania, Danimarca, Spagna, Italia, USA. Tre i premi: Riconoscimento della commissione artistica del governo di Porto Rico per la realizzazione dell’opera alla biblioteca pubblica di Barranquitas, Premio Joan Mitchell, Residenza Art  Omi Internationale e Premio Arte Laguna 2013.
