Nella mostra Pensiero Fluido, voluta e sostenuta dal Comune di Trieste con l’importante sostegno della ditta Lafer di Schio, sono esposte dieci sculture, sintesi del lavoro degli ultimi 5 anni di Lucio Scortegagna, accompagnate ad alcuni suoi materici a parete. Le sculture sono tutte realizzate in cemento, acciaio, ossidi e hanno un cromatismo comune di grigi, marroni bruciati, rossi ruggine.
I titoli si rincorrono principalmente su due parole costanti: cesure e zolle. La parola cesura deriva dal sostantivo latino che significa taglio, un taglio netto e duro. Fra i suoi sinonimi troviamo frattura, interruzione, rottura e spezzatura, ma anche pausa, sospensione e stacco.
Il termine zolla deriva invece dal longobardo e indica un pezzo compatto di terra, non molto grande, che si stacca dal terreno per un intervento meccanico guidato dall’uomo. Entrambe le parole convivono strettamente con le opere, per forza, incisione, massa e potenza. Uomo e materia sono a confronto guidati nel tempo e nello spazio da un costante fluido pensiero. Cesure verticali, cesure ellissoidali, cesure strutturanti in sospensione, zolle riverse
